Pimples – Causes and Treatment
Introduction:
Pimples areĀ result of blockage of the skin ’s pore. Pimples are actually hormonal changes during puberty.Acne is the term for pimples and complexion problems which occur in young people and some adults. Pimples usually occur on the face and are caused by inflamed and/or obstructed pores.
Cases of Pimples
Pimples are due to the blockage of skin pores. Some of the cases of this blockage are listed below.
- Vitamin deficiency.
- Bactria actions.
- over-active sebaceous glands.
- Improper diet that includes too many soft drinks, spicy and fried food and snacks with high iodine content
- less consumption of water
Indication of Pimples
Following are some of the conditions of Pimples.
- Red spots, swelling or lumps filled with pus around the affected area.
- Fever may also occur.
- SorenessĀ pain.
- Appearance of the spots, and by their distribution on the body.
- Changes in skin color, damage to self-esteem, confidence and personality.
Treatment of Pimples
We can treat pimples using Lemon and potato.
Using Lemon:
Apply equal amount of lemon juice and rose water with a cotton ball, leave for half an hour and wash. Repeat for 15-20 days.
Extract juice of one lemon and mix with equal quantity of rose water. Apply this mixture on the face and let it stay for about half an hour. Wash the face with fresh water. Do it for 15 days.
Using Potato
Take a raw potato, peel and grate it. Put the grated into a muslin piece and tie it tightly to form a pad. Rub this pad all over the face in the firm, circular motions for about 5 minutes and then wash your face. Alternatively you could directly rub potato slices all over the face.
